St Marys RSL sub-Branch has partnered with the St Marys Veterans Support Centre, to offer a broad range of WELLBEING Activities for Veterans (and several activities for partners).
The Program is designed specifically for all ADF Veterans, both those serving and those post-serving, Regular or Reserve, women and men, to participate in activities with like-minded, with a view to build camaraderie, mateship and wellness among Veterans and partner/family.
Wellbeing Officers are fully trained and qualified under the Training and Information Program, as is required by both the Returned and Services League of Australia and the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Our Wellbeing Officers are Bill Peet 0425 206 245 and Sam Vecchio 0418 247 325. They will be able to assist you with any of your requirements related to your own welfare or that of the welfare of a family member. Remember our Welfare officers are there for your benefit - there is no charge for their service.
How Can You Join a Wellbeing Activity?
Central co-ordination for the WELLBEING PROGRAM is located at the Veterans Support Centre ('The Train').
The following table outlines the activities within the Program. This will vary from time-to-time so as to meet the needs of the Veterans. The Program will be published regularly in local news magazine (Nepean News), on facebook pages for both the RSL sub-Branch and the Veterans Support Centre, and in the joint-ESO occasional magazine Western Outpost News.
